Job description:
My client is a leading corporate clothing managed service supplier renowned for their award winning innovative and bespoke designs for the premium sector of the market. The company has grown significantly over the last year and has won a number of new high profile bespoke managed service contracts. Following a successful 2011, they are now looking to recruit a Business Manager to take responsibility for the new key accounts to the business.
The Role:
Initially you will have responsibility to oversee the full product life cycle from development to delivery for your individual accounts. Responsibilities including;
·Work with design, technical and buying teams on new product development and range planning.
·Responsible for co-ordinating the weekly activities of the rollout, buying and technical team to ensure critical paths are adhered to for your individual accounts.
·Develop and implement new account plans to achieve sales target.
·Analyse sales and profitability.
·Plan and attend management review meetings with your portfolio of accounts.
·Attend internal board meetings to communicate issues raised from forecasting, management review meetings and advise general account position.
Further responsibilities
The individual shall also support the Business Development Team win new business contracts. Attending Head Office meetings to advise Clients on product designs, sampling, costing, lead times etc. You will also provide information and advice for submitting contract and tender documents.
Who we are looking for?
We are looking for a Business Manager who has relevant senior / key account management experience working for a managed service supplier of corporate clothing uniform or careerwear. You will understand the processes required to ensure a successful and workable managed service solution and have experience co-ordinating a managed service garment rollout for new clients.
It is desirable if you have experience managing accounts with an annual spend of £500,000 plus.
