Job description:

My Client is a leading Corporate Clothing managed service supplier renowned for their award winning innovative and bespoke designs for the premium sector of the market. To help develop sales within new sectors, my client seeks a Business Development Manager / Director to implement a growth / diversification strategy to develop new business opportunities.

The Role:

Working closely with internal stakeholders of the business to understand the operational and design capabilities of the business. You will identify new business opportunities within sectors who will benefit from the bespoke corporate clothing solutions. For example; Retail, Finance, Hospitality and Leisure etc.

Key Tasks / Main Activities

• Maintain and develop news sales in accordance with agreed business plan and individual targets.
• Total responsibility for the management of contracts and tender submissions.
• Work closely with stakeholders across individual departments of the business to advise and evaluate current and future market trends.
• To assist the Managing Director in setting and implementing annual business plan objectives.

Who we are looking for?

We require a Business Development Manager who has specific experience working for a corporate clothing / workwear managed service supplier.

Essential

• Has had full responsibility for setting sales objectives.
• Experienced in contract negotiation and bid preparation to extend or win new contracts.
• An understanding / experience co-ordinating the activities of Rollout Team, Buying, Design and Technical Teams to ensure critical paths are adhered for new contract awards.

Desirable

• Has previous experience selling in to retail, finance, hospitality or leisure sectors.
• Located in the South East.
