Job description:

My Client is a UK leading Corporate Clothing, Uniform and Careerwear Managed Service Supplier. They offer a comprehensive solution for clients within both the public and private sector, supplying off the shelf garments for small orders through to bespoke managed service solutions for thousands of personnel.

Following a successful 2010, the company has won a number of new high-profile bespoke managed service contracts. To help manage the new accounts, they are looking to recruit an Account Manager.

The Role:

Initially you will have responsibility to oversee the full product life cycle from development to delivery for your individual accounts. Responsibilities including;

  • Work with design, technical and buying teams on new product development and range planning.
  • Responsible for co-ordinating the weekly activities of the rollout, buying and technical team to ensure critical paths are adhered to for your individual accounts.
  • Identify when the critical path is in jeopardy and create contingency plans to safeguard late shipment of garments.

Further responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new account plans to achieve sales target.
  • Analyse sales and profitability by item and category.
  • Obtain accurate garment usage information for each account to maximise effective stock management.
  • Plan and attend management review meetings with your portfolio of accounts.
  • Attend inter-departmental meetings to communicate issues raised from forecasting, management review meetings and advise general account position.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for an Account Manager who has relevant experience working for a managed service supplier of corporate clothing, uniform or careerwear. You will understand the processes required to ensure a successful and workable managed service solution and ideally have experience co-ordinating a managed service garment rollout.

Desirable

  • At least 2 years experience working for a corporate clothing managed service supplier.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels and have the conviction to push thing’s through.
  • Located in either the West or East Midlands.
