Export Sales Manager – Germany & Scandinavia

Based in the UK / 50% travelling to the region

My client is a leading UK manufacturer of occupational health and safety solutions including disposable workwear and hygiene solutions. Servicing end users within the HORECA, process manufacturing and healthcare markets, they supply through an extensive network of UK and International distributors covering over 70 countries. As they look to further extend sales within Europe, they are now looking to recruit a German speaking Export Sales Manager.

THE ROLE:

The requirement of the Export Sales Manager is to help grow existing distribution sales and identify new partners.

Working closely with existing distributors, you will research and exploit new end-user opportunities, advice on new hygiene product lines and look to further develop the brand throughout the region.

New business partners will be identified through researching and exploiting market trends and opportunities with end users. Assigning new distributors observing the industry sectors they serve.

THE PERSON:

Candidates must be fluent in German and live within commutable distance of the Head Office in the East Midlands.

We are ideally looking for individuals who have relevant workwear, PPE, hygiene or janitorial manufacturer experience. We can also consider candidates from related occupational health and safety sectors or from the catering equipment industry. It is essential that you have sales experience selling through distribution.

POA:

Basic salary: £28000 - £35000

Commission Incentive: 15% bonus on achievement of target (Split over quarterly payments)

Travel Allowance, Contribution Pension Scheme.
