Job description:

My Client is a manufacturer of fall arrest and personal protective equipment (PPE). They manufacture and provide paired training & support services on a comprehensive portfolio of technical fall protection products, for example harnesses, descenders, lanyards and ascenders. They work specifically with end user customers across a variety of vertical markets including Wind Energy, Construction & Civil Engineering, Facilities management, Docks and Ports. With the establishment of a new training facility in Aberdeen, they are now looking to recruit a Sales Manager who can develop sales opportunities in the Petrochemical industry.

The Position:

As Sales Manager you will look to develop opportunities for the sale of height safety equipment and paired training and support services. Targeting the petrochemical industry, you look to gain new business opportunities with the main operators, contractors, facilities management and affiliated suppliers to the offshore industry.  You will seek contract and tender opportunities, attend exhibitions and identify collaborative relationships with suppliers to the industry.

The Person:

We are looking for an individual who has relevant Height Safety or affiliated PPE sales experience for either a manufacturer or distributor selling to end users. Example companies that you may have previously worked: PPE Distributors (Arco, Buck & Hickman, Wenaas, Cromwell Tools, Greenham and K&L Ross), PPE Manufacturers (Draeger, MSA Britain) Height Safety Manufacturers (Sperian, Capital Safety). You will reside within commutable distance of Aberdeen and have desired experience selling to the petrochemical industry and have an overall appreciation of the procurement processes and end user requirements.

POA:

Basic Salary £30000 - £35000 + commission, company car, pension.
